Fracanapa - New Tango Quintet sees the compositions of legendary bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla to be an unique form of chamber music. The works are performed in his preferred instrumentation of bandoneon, piano, violin, guitar and double bass.
The compositions of argentinian bandoneon player Matías González mingle influences of tango with forms of european music like fugue or passacaglia.
